The following is a summary of its contents…in Irish and English;
Achoimre ar rialacha na scoile maidir le carranna tuismitheoirí.
- Ar maidin– “Set down” amháin atá ann idir an dhá speed bumps is cóngaraí do bhealach isteach ascaill na scoile. – stad – cabhraigh le do pháiste – imigh.
Ná fág do charr san áit seo ar feadh tréimhse ró fhada mar chuireann sé isteach go mór ar trácht na háite agus na scoile.
- Ná stop riamh taobh amuigh do chasadh isteach na scoile.
- Ná dean iarracht do charr a chasadh ag béal an ascaill– ag aon am.
- Níl cead ag tuismitheoirí tiomaint isteach an ascaill. Tá cead speisialta ag dhá theaghlach. Má tá ceist agat maidir le seo is féidir labhairt le Deaglán
- Dean páirceál ar thaobh scoile den bhother amháin.
Tá na rialacha seo ann ar san gach clann agus páiste sa scoil, is cuma faoin aimsir. Bí cinnte go bhfuil cóta agus bríste báistí ag gach páiste, lena ainmneacha scríobhte orthu agus le chéile cuirfimid scoil sábháilte ar fail do ghach duine.

A summary of the rules governing parking / dropping your child to school
- Morning time- Set down only between the two speed bumps immediately outside the entrance to the school in the mornings.
Please –Stop your car. – Help your child safely out of the car – leave. All children should be able to walk unaccompanied from this area to the school yard.
Do not park your car between these two speed bumps for an extended period of time as it creates great difficulties for road users and especially for school traffic.
- Never block the entrance to the avenue.
- Never ever attempt to turn your car at the entrance to the avenue – at any time during the school day. This has happened on a number of occasions and it is extremely dangerous.
- Do not drive down the avenue without prior permission from the school to do so -only two families presently have permission to do so. Please speak with Deaglán if you would like to question this.
- If you need to park up, only park on the school side of the road. Never park on the opposite side of the road and especially not in front of other people’s houses / driveways.
These rules apply to everyone regardless of weather conditions. We strongly recommend that children bring appropriate rain gear to school with them (ie. rain coat and leggings) and together we will keep our school a safe place for all.
Míle buíochas; Deaglán agus pobal uile na scoile.
