Ceolchoirm – School Concert Rang1 – Rang 6
A thuismitheoirí / chaomhnóirí,
Beidh ár gceolchoirm ar siúl i Silversprings Convention Centre oíche Dé Céadaoin 28 Eanáir ag 7.00. Caithfidh na páistí a bheith ann ag 6.45. Beidh cathaoireacha faoi leith dos na ranganna éagsúla agus fanfaidh gach páiste lena rang agus a mhúinteoir ranga go dtí go bhfuil an ceolchoirm thart.
Is gá go mbeadh aon páiste sa ghrúpa giotár i láthair ag 6:30 mar go bhfuil said ag oscailt ár gceolchoirm. Beidh Iain agus Jason ann chun na giotáir a thiúnadh. Is gá go gcaithfidh na páistí sa ghrúpa giotár, sa bhanna ceoil agus na páistí i Rang Múinteoir Aoife a n-éide scoile ceart a chaitheamh dos na himeachtaí sin. Inseoidh na múinteoirí eile leis na páistí cad is gá dóibh caitheamh don oíche.
I mbliana beidh an Coiste Tuismitheoirí ag bailiú €5 ó gach duine fásta ag an doras chun costaisí an halla a chlúdach. Tá dóthain párcáil timpeall air agus taobh thiar den Convention Centre ach de bharr go bhfuil imeachtaí eile ar siúl an oíche céanna san ionad, tabhair breis ama daoibh féin. Tá súil againn go mbainfidh gach duine an- taitneamh as an oíche. Iarrfaimid oraibh gan milseáin nó deochanna a thabhairt dos na páistí. Beidh cóisir againn ar scoil ar an Aoine 13 Feabhra ar lá na laethannta saoire don bhriseadh mean-téarma.
Our annual school concert for children in R1 to R6 will take place in the Silverspring’s Convention Centre on Wednesday 28th Jan 2015 starting at 7.00. All children must be in the hall, dressed in their costumes by 6.45. There will be a seating area designated to each class where the children must remain with their class teacher for the duration of the concert. Parents who wish to take young children home may do so at the interval, it is important you inform the class teacher if you are leaving.
The children who are in the guitar group must be at the Convention Centre at 6:30 as Iain and Jason will be there to tune the guitars as they are opening our concert. The children in the school band and the guitar group as well as R4 (Múinteoir Aoife’s class) are to wear their full school uniforms on the night for their performances. The other classes and Karan’s singing group may wear the clothes that the class teacher has asked them to wear.
To cover the cost of the hall, the Coiste Tuismitheoirí will be collecting €5 from each adult at the door. They will also be holding a raffle which will be held at the interval. There is plenty of parking around and behind the Convention Centre. However, as there are plenty of children and parents involved as well as another function on in the centre at the same time, we ask that you give yourself plenty of time to get parking. We ask that no child be given sweets or drinks for the concert, as we will be having a party in school on Friday 13th February 2015, the day of the mid-term break. We hope you all have an enjoyable night.
Le dea-mhéin, Múinteoir Maebh
