Anti-Cyberbullying / Internet Safety Workshops 14/09/17
Bhí oíche iontach suimiúil againn an Déardaoin seo caite agus ba mhaith le Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn ár mbuíochas a ghabháil dóibh siúd a tháinig ar an oíche. Bhain gach duine a bhí ann an-thaitneamh as. Bhí go leor rudaí úsáideacha le foghlaim ann, chomh mhaith le scéalta dearfacha agus diúltacha faoi saol ár bpáistí agus iad ag úsáid an t-idirlíon.
We had a very interesting evening here in our school last Thursday and Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn would like to sincerely thank all of you that took the time to attend. All that attended our internet safety / Cyber bullying talk enjoyed it and although some of the stories shared were quite unexpected and even frightening from a parental point of view, it was a very useful informative evening with a lot of very practical, useful, safety techniques and advice shared.
The following is from Mr. Ger Brick, the presenter of the workshop and it contains a link to the slides he used at the talk.
Thank you very much again for inviting me to speak to the children and parents of Gaelscoil Ghoirt Alainn about Cyberbullying & Internet Safety. I really enjoyed the day with you. I hope you found the workshops valuable and thank you for trusting me with your pupils.
