Beidh páistí na scoile ag dul abhaile ag a 12 ar an Aoine. Beidh na páistí ós na ranganna Naíonáin; Rang Eilish, Lisa C, Clár & Maebh á scaoileadh amach ag 11:50 agus beidh an cuid eile den scoil á scaoileadh amach ón scoil ag 12:10. Iarraimid ar gach duine rialacha na scoile maidir le páirceáil a leaniúint. Níl gá le éide scoile amárach.
There will be a half day on Friday 11th April 2014 at 12.00.
Children from Rang Eilish, Lisa C, Clár & Maebh can be collected from 11:50 and older children will be kept in class until 12:10. This is to facilitate with traffic congestion. We ask everyone to follow the school guidelines and rules regarding parking, particularly on half days. Parking on the far side of the road (even on the grass) is strictly prohibited, as it causes traffic mayhem. Please ensure child-minders are aware of the school parking guidelines. Children with siblings can go home together at any of the above times. Children are not obliged to wear the school uniform on Friday.
Na toghcháin áitiúla / Local elections.
The Board of management of Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn has sent an invitation to all candidates running for election in the upcoming local elections, to meet with a small number of representatives from our Board, with members of our coiste na dtuismitheoirí and with teacher representatives to set out their position regarding our new school and it’s imminent construction. This information will then be passed on to all of the parents in our school. To date a number of candidates have met with us and have given us their views, a number have not met with us yet and one has refused to meet with us at all but has outlined his position. We will inform parents of the position being taken by all candidates immediately after the Easter Holidays.
Jump for Jerry
Tá ticéid ar díol sa scoil ar son uibheacha cásca. €1 atá ar na ticéid agus tá an t-airgead ar fad ar son an charthanacht Jump for Jerry. Déanfar an crannchur amárach ag tionóil na scoile.
Tickets are currently being sold at school for a number of Easter eggs. Tickets cost €1 each and all money raised will go to the Jump for Jerry Foundation. A draw will take place tomorrow at the school assembly.
