A thuismitheoirí, a cháirde
Tá fáilte mór rómhaibh ar fad ar ais go Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn don scoil bhliain 2017 -2018. Tá súil agam go raibh saoire deas agaibh go léir agus go bhfuil sibh ar fad ullamh don bhliain nua atá romhainn.
Tá obair na bliana tosnaithe anois. Tá na páistí agus na múinteoirí socraithe isteach sna seomraí nua agus tá gach duine dírithe ar an bhfoghlam.
Má tá slí ar bith gur féidir linn cabhrú libh ní gá daoibh ach ceist a chur. Déanfaimid ár ndícheall i gcónaí do pháistí na scoile seo. Ná bíodh aon leisce ort teagmháil a dhéanamh linn má tá fonn ort gné ar bith a bhaineann le do pháiste sa scoil a phlé.
Tá ár scoil fós ag fás agus i mbliana agus is iontach an radharc í 47 páiste nua a bheith tosnaithe linn i Naíonáin bheaga. Tá ár scoil ag dul ó neart go neart gach bliain ach tá géarghá le scoil nua. Tá dul chun cinn suntasach déanta sa scéal seo le déanaí agus táimid ag súil le a thuilleadh forbairt sa scéal seo go luath.
Ó gach duine anseo sa scoil, tá súil againn go mbíonn bliain táirgiúil slán agaibh linn!

You’re all very welcome back to Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn for the 2017-2018 school year. We hope you enjoyed the summer break and that you are now prepared for the year ahead.
Our school year is already in full flow. Teachers and children are settled back into their classrooms, learning has recommenced and there is a very positive atmosphere to be felt throughout the school.
If there is any way that we can help you as a parent attend to the needs of your child or if there is ever an issue that you need to discuss with us, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will do what we can to help the children in our care.
Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn is a popular, growing school and it has been a wonderful sight these past few days to see 47 eager new students begin formal education in Naíonáin bheaga with us. We are extremely proud of our school but we are also badly in need of a new school building. There have been substantial developments in this regards in the past few weeks. With the tendering process for the new build already underway we now fully expect that our aspirations of getting a new school will soon become a reality.
From everybody here in Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn, we hope you all have a very productive and successful year with us.
