Margadh Geimhridh

Míle buíochas dóibh siúd a tháinig ar chuairt chuig ár Margadh Geimhridh ar an Aoine seo caite, an 13 Nollag. D’éirigh linn dhá mhíle euro a bhailiú agus níos tábhachtaí ná aon rud eile, chabhraigh an ócáid leis an atmaisféar dearfach atá i gcónaí le mothú mór thimpeall na scoile! Buíochas go speisialta dóibh siúd ar fad a bhí faoi bhun an óicéad a eagrú agus a chur le chéile. Gan bhúr gcabhair ní fhéadfaimís é a chur ar siúl.

With the imminent move into the new school edging ever closer the school is currently experiencing an extremely busy period. Without the help and support of our parents it would simply not have been possible to host our Winter Fair last Friday. Huge thanks to all who came and supported our event on Friday 13th December. The total sum of money collected was just over €2000 and all of this money will be put to good use in our new school. Even more importantly however, was the positive, happy atmosphere that was felt by all who attended the fair. People were talking, laughing, bargaining and listening to the beautiful songs / music that were performed by various classes and groups.

Events such as this help enormously with the atmosphere throughout the school but they could not take place without the help of our parents. In particular, I’d like to thank Lisa, those that oversaw the running of our stalls, the many volunteers that helped prepare the hall (Volunteers were working from 10.00pm to Midnight on Thursday 12th setting the place up) and indeed to everyone that helped with the clean up after. A special Thank you to those of you that helped to run our café from morning to evening. Bhí sibh ar fad ar fheabhas.

On Monday 24 February 2020 we will be in our new school!

Nollaig Shona agus Athbhliain faoi mhaise daoibh!
