Seo thíos cúpla nóta agus sinn ag teacht chuig deireadh na scoil bliana.

Dioscó Scoile: Táimid fíor buíoch do Choiste na dTuismitheoirí agus gach éinne a bhí bainteach le dioscó na scoile ar an Domhnach. Níor chuir an aimsir isteach nó amach ar an spraoi a bhí ag chuile duine ann!

Éide Scoile an tSamhraidh:

Iócaíocht d’imeachtaí Scoile:

Seo thíos na gníomhachataí a bhí ar siúl i rith na bliana ag na ranganna éagsúla. Déanaigí cinnte go bhfuil íocaíocht iomlána ann chomh luath agus is féidir. Is féidir íoc astu tríd na hoifige nó le PAYPAL ar  www.gortalainn.ie. Beidh téacsanna meabhracháin á sheoladh amach go luath.

Lá spórt agus siúlóid Maarten ar siúl ar an Déardaoin seo an 7ú Meitheamh. Bíodh éide spórt, uachtar gréine agus uisce/deoch sa bhreis ag do pháiste.

Please find below a couple of notes as we come towards the end of the school year,

School Disco: We would like to thank all of the Coiste and those involved in organising an enjoyable, fun packed school disco on Sunday. The weather couldn’t even dampen the moves and fun had by all!

Summer Uniform:

As the warm weather has finally arrived, the children may on a daily basis wear the Summer uniform of plain navy shorts (no jeans), a white polo t-shirt and the school tracksuit jumper.

Dates for the Calendar:

• June 11^th 1-2pm:Swimming Gala for Rang Eilish, Rebecca, Deiric, Niamh, Anna: R3/4, 4, 5, 5/6, 6
• June 24^th 1-2pm : Swimming Gala for Rang Cristín, Aoife, Nóirín, Niamh S, Lisa C: R1, R2, R3
• June 22 40 – 2.30: Graduation for Rang 6
• June 27^th 30 – 12.30: Second hand sale of uniforms (more times to be added).
• June 27^th 10-12am: Campa Samhraidh for the incoming Junior Infants
• June 29^th: Half Day for the start of the Summer holidays

School Activities to be settled:We are now asking that payment for classes are paid forthwith. Payments can be made either in full or in instalments through Lisa in the office using your child’s white payment card. It can also be paid through Paypal on the school ‘s website www.gortalainn.ie. Text messages will be issued shortly to remind people.

• Dancing: Junior Infants- Rang 6. Cost: €30 for 1 child, €50 for a family of 2 children, €60 for a family of 3 or more children.
• Tennis: Junior Infants-Rang6.  Cost: €12.
• Swimming: Rang 1- Rang6.   Cost:€35
• Italian Classes: Rang 5 & 6  Cost: €20

Book Costs:The book bills must be paid in full by Friday 15^th June.

Our school sports day takes place on Thursday next, 7^th June. Please ensure that your child has an extra drink and sun cream for the day & is wearing school tracksuit or shorts.
